Admittedly, this may not seem like a very refined, ’21-st century’ thing to do, but chewing tobacco is a great way to ease your body away from smoking. For some smokers, the problem is in the absence of the smoking action as much as it is the nicotine or tobacco itself. So it might take some getting used to, but if you can manage it, you will be able to do yourself a great favour. That said, e-cigarettes and vaporizers are also less challenging options, so you could always start with those.
